Frank Ampmeijer

Background

Frank attended 4 tree planting programs as a kid, when he lived in Belgium for a few years.

He is a Dutch micro-electronics engineer, serial tech-entrepreneur and rooted in Malaysia since 2006. He is the brainchild of TreeTherium.

From 2014-2020 he managed the SEA region for a property-related software platform, a joint-venture with MainPlus B.V. from the Netherlands. During his time working in the property and real estate industry he saw how new and urban developments are taking over the tropical landscape at a rapid tempo.

In the year 2016 he became a PermaCulture Designer, after an intensive fulltime 2-week PDC, and was trained by Geoff Lawton and his team in Kuantan, Malaysia.

It’s there when the seed was planted to take tree planting more serious, bring it to the masses, and apply blockchain to ensure an honest and transparant industry.
